I got married in Va. in 1987 never lived in Va, want to get divorce?

Is it legal? what do I need to do. Lived in DC. She lived in Maryland and DC. Need to get a divorce

you can file in the state you live in now. As long as you have lived there at least 30 days

Usually you need to get divorced in the state that you last lived together (married).

You can file for divorce in the state you live in. It doesn't matter what state you were married in.
