my sister has it - and she thought it was great, i'm hoping for some cold weather down here, as she's already knitted a cool scarf!! well worth the 99p for the 1st issue xx

I've never knitted, but love crochet. If you go to the bookstore - there are tons of magazines on knitting - Happy Knitting!!!:)

There's lots of free sites to teach you you can also get free patterns on their sites

I also bought 'I taught myself to knit book'. It came with 2 sets of needles,gauge counter,needle, stitch markers and a few other things. About $10 at walmart.

i did, the free knitting needles were pefect as chop sticks when I ate my sweet and sour last night

you would be cheaper to go to a bookshop.
buy a book that explains what you want to know, then buy the materials from the craft shop.
