The people in the tropics are more laid-back because the climate is usually stable (except when there is typhoon). Whereas people in countries with really cold season need to work for survival and warmth. It also explains why most 3rd world countries are also the ones that doesn't have winter and those who have are mostly rich countries.

well, WEATHER obviously effects things like wether or not we go outside and wether or not we do certain activities. Climate however effects our permantent life style. When the next ice age come, I am betting there will be a lot less wanting to be outside.

Do you mean big M Man, as in humanity, or small m man, as in males?
I can tell you that in Minnesota, I believe our winters make us appreciate our summers more, encouraging us to be outside more frequently than we might otherwise.

Response to the Solution:
Don't know if your post and the all caps "WEATHER" was in response to my post, or not. It is correct that to view outdoor conditions over a short period is to be observing weather. In Minnesota, winters actually happen almost annually (oddly enough) and can thus be said to be a part of our (continental) climate. I am not positive wether (sic) your post dealt with me or not, if it did please accept this as my retort.

in general, environment plays a huge role in affecting our activities.we either adopt to the changes or go against it. if it's winter, we do activities that are more suitable to the cold weather such as skiing, ice skating, etc. while summer would give us chances to be with our families and enjoy the sun and sand with them.
