Yes it is very normal...I just had a c-section 7 months ago and I've only had two cycles since then. I am breastfeeding, and that does inhibit the return of your period for sometime, b/c of the hormone levels. And the cramping pain may or may not be normal; to be on the safe side I would just ask the OB at your next check-up, or call him or her. Seven months later I also still have a bit of mild, dull pain at the incision site, especially when I'm putting pressure on it, like when I'm standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes or something. But if the pain you're having gets any worse or begins to occur more often than before, I'd go see the doctor. You might have an infection, for which they will probably just give you an antibiotic. Anyway congrats! :)

Yes, it's normal. I had pain where the incision was for like a year afterwards & didn't have a period for over a year. I was under a doctor's supervision the whole time & they were not concerned. You are just fine. It takes a very long time for a c-section incision to completely heal.

Call your dr to be on the safe side. After 9 weeks you should be healing. do you smoke? are you brest feeding? it can make a difference. I had a knot and was tender for awhile after my c section but had healed by that time.

if you breastfeed frequently your body will not ovulate and therefore you won't have a period!
but check with your doctor to be sure
congratulations with your baby!
