Do you really think the war in Iraq is the cause of this negative world opinion? I do not.

Jealousy has always been the strongest and most motivating emotion of humans.

Remember in school, the little guy would seek to make himself look bigger, by taunting the biggest guy he could find.

Hang on, it is tempting to forget all the previous wrongs and just concentrate on Iraq. CIA has had its hands in dirtier pots for decades, supporting warlords and dictators around the world.

It has all gone down hill since the end of the cold war when people no longer had to choose between two evils- the USA and the USSR.

True, but why? Does the rest of the world fear that we will somehow take over the oil fields there? All we wanted and still want is a peaceful region with reasonable governments presiding over the world's single most valuable non-renewable resource. That's it, nothing more. Not revenge. Not war against Islam. Just peace.

Haven't seen a poll.
Iraq war was mistake.
However....there is enough sectarian violence and genocidal violence going on in world it refutes the impression you make in your question....
that of gentle peaceloving people horrified by American aggression.
World opinion does not favor U.S in general.
Why would another unfavorable poll make a difference?

And after the pollster leaves they back to the same old ****..
"What is America going to do about this?"
and
" what is America going to do about that?"

I still don't understand why we invaded and occupied Iraq in the first place. How has the US acted in its interests or aided the average person in Iraq?

Ask any Iraqi "Is your life better now that Saddam is gone." - The answer will be, "I am glad he is gone, but my life is not better, in fact, it is worse, my country was destroyed by actions of a foreign invader, and now other foreign invaders have made it impossible for me to rebuild my life.."

Screw the world and screw Iraq. We should have reduced all their cities to dust and then moved our surplus population into the country to run things.
