Abortion????? just looking for your opinion?

I am pregnant and happily having my baby......BUT.......Just needing to ask...what is the fad with abortion? i think it is wrong and inhumane!!!!! Look at this web page... www.mttu.com and watch the video? do you believe in abortion? its a BABY not a CHOICE. if you dont want it, keep your damn legs closed. if you have had or have thought about having one, you might as well go to prison! its murder!!!! and if you say its not, then why when someone murders a woman who is pregnant, they charge them with double homicide? EXACTLY!! cause its MURDER!!! DONT DO IT! GIVE THE BABY A LIFE. YOU GOT ONE! so...... where do you stand? are you or would you be a mother or a murderer???

i understand some answers and respect them. but why is it so bad to kill a grown person but not a baby? thats what i want to know. they are murderers but people who get abortions arent? i understand medical reasons, but the truth is that is RARE, people usually get them because they arent mature enough to man up. there is adoption, abortion is selfish, thats just my belief.

I agree with you that people should take better care of their bodies by using birth control, that would stop the majority of unwanted pregnancies from the start. But I don't think that you can eliminate abortion, I would rather a women murders their baby before they have it than after, or mistreat it because they do not want it. What they do has to go home with them in the end, they are the ones who have to live with the knowledge of what they did.
My husband had what I think is a pretty good idea for abortion. He feels that to get an abortion you should have to apply for a license for legal murder, you should fill out a form and go before a judge to get it approved, and it would be in the paper letting people know that you had got one. That might actually prevent people from getting abortions as a form a birth control, and start using birth control and condoms responsibly. They would all be able to get their abortions, no one would be denied, but it would become public knowledge, so they have to be willing to face that kind of attention.

Do you think that a 12 year old girl that was either raped or molested should have to remain pregnant?
Do you think that if the mother's life were in danger and the doctors told her she should have an abortion or she would die. Should she die?
What if the fetus had a horrible disibility/disease and would only suffer a terrible life when it was born? Should it have to suffer?

What if someone just didn't want to have a baby and if they did they would just neglect it and really not care for it then should they even have it?

I am for abortion and i would have one myself if any of the above happened to me. Every woman has the right to choose EVEN YOU. By the way abortion is legal and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Why judge a woman/girl for having one? How would you like it if someone judged you for having how many ever kids you have?

If it were murder than abortion would be illegal. It is only a medical procedure. Seeing a video of an abortion does not change my mind. I am still for abortion.
If it were a baby then why do they call it a fetus the entire 9 months?

See in your own opinion you are against abortion which is fine but you should not judge people that have had an abortion.

What is the fad with abortion? That makes no sense. It is not like it is a popularity thing going on. Some things just happen which leads girls/women to have abortions.
I believe it kills people how a woman has the right to do what she wants with HER OWN body.

Hello there. I want to tell you that I agree with everything that you have said and I would give anything if there was a way to stop abortion. There has never been a time when so many women have thrown away the precious gift of life that they have been given. These women are murderers and there is no other way to look at it. You are 100% correct when you say that killing a baby is murder. The reason that so many women are killing their BORN children now is because we have made it okay for them to kill their UNBORN children. We have taught them that babies in general are disposable and their property to let live or to kill.
Babies are not a choice! Once you are pregnant it is no longer a choice. It is a choice before it is a baby, by the time you are pregnant it is no longer a choice.
The other phrase that really gets me is the one "safe abortion". There is NO such thing as a SAFE abortion, it kills the baby every time! How can anyone call that safe?
Something is wrong with women today. They have lost touch with their greatest power, the power to bring forth life. They have let men convince them that having babies is not important. They would rather have some job making minimum wage rather than taking care of a baby. They have lost their minds. The women that I counsel always tell me that some man is going to "kill them" if they have this baby! It is either a boyfriend or a father or a husband, someone, but always a man. They are always afraid of some man being mad at them. Very few women actually want to kill their own babies. It goes against nature.
Women have forgotten that "the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world".
By far the majority of abortions are done for convenience. Only a tiny percentage are done because of rape or danger to the mother, something like 2%.
It is the saddest thing that has ever happened and someday there will be a price to pay.
I believe in adoption and just like that one answer said, I have adopted one of those little babies that was not aborted. There are homes waiting for all those precious little unwanted babies. Just let them live, give them a chance. Abortion is wrong, it is murder. You do not kill your baby simply because you do not want it!
Pretty soon, as technology increases, we will be able to save younger and younger babies. Abortion will become even a greater moral sin. Women are killing babies that could have been saved and put up for adoption!
Birth control is easier than ever to get. It is more and more reliable. There is the morning after pill. What excuse is there for abortion? If a pregnancy must be ended then what excuse is there for waiting so long? Pregnancy tests are accurate now even before a woman has missed her period! If the pregnancy must be ended, do it then! Don't wait until your baby is sucking its thumb!

BTW, contrary to what someone said, at 8 weeks the embryo becomes a FETUS.. At 12 weeks the baby is sucking his thumb, moving, kicking and has facial features and genitals. Some people have been given poor information or have not done their research.

No offense but I think you question lacks maturity. I don't believe in abortion, but I'm not against it either in circumstances. I think everyone's life is different and has to taken into consideration. An abortion is performed early in a pregnancy, Do you want to arrest every mother who has an early miscarriage because of some small infraction? Do you think it's so bad to use protection? It is the prevention of a baby being born. Making the decision to have an abortion is a difficult choice at best for most and peoples attitudes don't help. Many of these are children too and it is better for them and any future children to give them a start at life. What about rape and incest? You don't distinguish and that is even harder for a woman to live with. It's not our place to judge, and it's unfair to condemn until you have walked a mile in their shoes. I am a great child advocat and think there are many people that would love to adopt and give these kids a chance. I think it is the start of a child and hate the thought of abortion and being a mother can't imagine not having one of my children. But I respect others decisions and understand them. I see both sides and don't think either side is exactly right or exactly wrong.

this subject comes up alot and with these kinds if questions you are going to get different answers and views. i dont believe in abortion like you i too think it is murder, but you have to understand that EVERYONE is different and EVERYONE has their own views on what is right and what is wrong. not every women that gets pregnant has the same situation and not every baby is planned. you cant judge people by what they do or what they believe in, what is wrong in your eyes is completely right in some one elses eyes. raped women and women who are beat or are broke and cant afford to give the baby the life they deserve have that right to make a decision like that, and they do understand that adoption is an option, but sometimes you have to think about how it would be growing up in a foster home waiting and wondering if someone is going to take you in and love you. although i would NEVER have an abortion or give my child up for adoption, people do, and we cant go around juding every person that decides they arent ready to be a mama yet. dont judge, you are pregnant and about to have a baby of your own, be grateful for that and try not to worry about how others live their lives. you dont know them.

I dont think you should be judgemental, its wrong.Abortion is wrong without a doubt, but u never can tell peoples reasons for doing it, Some people are not prepared for the responsibility of parenting, and would rather have an abortion than see the child suffer. Mistakes do happen, its not about keeping ones legs closed, Havent you heard of Birth control failing or rape or even a simple mistake btwn partners?
i do not condone abortion, but i think it is wrong to judge. People do have a choice to make decisions they think will be best for them even if it is not always morally right.

So I guess you're a vegetarian ... and you couldn't possibly own anything made from leather ... and of course you're watching how much waste you create ... not throwing out plastics to kill our environment ... and walking or bike riding so as to prevent any more pollution ...

shall I go on or do we end here ... without any bad in the world how would you know whats good.

oh and by the way if every baby ever conceived were to be born how would we take care of them ... the world is already filled with enough people who can't afford to eat, live in a safe place, get proper medical attention, or get a job to support themselves or a family ... and you want every victim of rape to endure bearing a child for the memories ... every baby born to a drugged up or abusive parent to survive and be able to be neglected or worse beaten ... we haven't solved all the problems of those who do get to survive ... we don't have enough homes and care for the babies who are born ... but you're thoughts and solutions would be greatly appreciated by those left unadopted ... please hurry to the nearest government facility and let them know you've solved all the problems so that every concieved baby can be born, raised fed clothed cared for and live a successful life without the threats that exist in todays society ... we're all waiting to hear it.

I too am also pregnant and keeping her! But you need to understand everyone has there reasoning on why they have an abortion. Just because you don't believe in it doesn't mean you need to call them murders.. You think its not hard for them to go in it and do it? I had a girlfriend who had to get one done because there was a medical problem behind it.. and she said it was the hardest thing to do, so does that make her a murder?! Another thing, its the freedom of speech.. Just like you are speaking about it right now, its there right to go and get one done..

Try growing up and thinking about the actual living breathing human involved in the abortion question, which is the female. If you were truly concerned about 'life', you'd be more concerned over hers instead of a blob of cells.

I could never have children; I'm just too selfish. I'm smart enough to know that it's better to have an abortion then to bring an unwanted child into this world. Things happen; birth control fails, rapes and incest happens, and to turn a blind eye towards this is to be less than human yourself. Understanding is the key to life on this earth; no one is holding a gun to your head and making you get an abortion; that's why they call it free choice. To deny everyone the option to get an abortion just because you don't believe in it is wrong. Get over yourself; your opinions and feelings are not the only ones in the world. I'd get an abortion in a minute if I were pregnant...and I get to have a life and continue my happy little career while those that chose to keep the baby are stuck wondering what might have been.
