Sex usually means doing intercourse by inserting penis in the vagina for the purpose of reaching climax followed with ejaculation of semen. Sex can be also done by inserting penis in the anus hence called anal sex and using mouth for the purpose of sucking or licking the penis or vagina hence called oral sex. It can also be lip to lip sucking or licking hence called kissing. Now when two people indulge in these activities we call it they are doing sex or having sex.
