I know the school and the claimed graduation year. I feel I'm being lied to and manipulated by this person. This is just one instance. Unfortunately, this is someone close to me. Thank you.

In response to answer 1 - No they won't! They would be declaring this information illegally. The Data Protection Act forbids disclosure of anyone's personal information - other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or compiled - without the express permission of the person concerned.

Other alternative is to ask to see the certificate!

Contact the School Admissions office and put in a false request as a prospective employer of the person depending on good news from them. They will then get back to you with the true answer
