s/he has probably been picking/scratching at an infection either fungal or bacterial. Needs to go to the Dr. for a culture if a week of antibiotic cream does not help. If the infection is secondary to a fungal infection, they will have to see a Dr. to get the proper cream. If they have a piercing, go right away. Don't want an abscess or anything like that.
