They are not all open at once, it works on a rotation system.
So long as you buy your ticket or have special permission you can go inside the open ones. This includes those at Saqqara.
The breathe and sweat of the millions of tourist going in and out each year, has caused more damage in the past 30 years than in the time since they were built.
Every time a sweaty hand touches the wall you damage it to a degree. So its not encouraged that you touch the inside of any pyramid or tomb.
The guardians will soon let you know if you overstep the mark.
Its allowed to touch the outside,of course and you need to go up onto ledge on the lowest levels to get to the entrance.Once your ticket is checked in you go.
Don't go in if you are claustrophobic, asthmatic or have any breathing or heart condition.
It is quite a strenuous exercise and depending on your height you may have a pretty sore back from bending down for so long.
But if you can,its is well worth the feeling of being in the centre of one of these huge structures.
There is little to see on the walls, except a bit of 18th and 19th century graffiti.
You often find people meditating in them.

Hi there,
You can get very close! You can climb the first pile of stones, maybe the second as well, but THAT'S IT! If you climb any further it can be dangerous. Very dangerous in fact!! Climbing up is easy, climbing DOWN is a whole other issue!
Have a safe trip :)

Yeah you can get away with climbing a little bit, my sister and I did when nobody was looking but you really can't go very far. We ended up getting wisked away by the camel drivers trying to take all our money.

Yes you can climb them, I did it myself, it's okay as long as you're not going so high..you can even get inside them in some tours, it was like 10$ per person I guess, don't remember tho..There's no much limitation there just don't harm yourself-harm others-or steal anything ^^
