The turning point of the third test which india lost was sending sehwag into opening rather then sending dinesh kaarthick.India got all out for just 169 thus by giving south africa the target as 211 because of the 42 runs lead they got in the first innings.

I think it has to be the batting collapse. This has been true throughout this series (except for 1st test). In the 4 ODIs before the test series, India only exceeded 200 runs ONCE! In this day and age it is absurd. I cant believe no-one paid the price for that i.e. Sehwag. He has been on the team for way too long on previous credit. The line-up/selection process must be revisited before the WC or it will be an embrassment!

The entire match was a turning point. I knew that india is going to lose the moment I hears that they are not going to plat the two regular spinner in the match.

since we got a good total in first innings,we can't make the same in 2nd innings also. The bad batting of our batsman in the 4th day was the turning point of 3rd test.

i dont know the exact turning point of tat match.
it just tells, our team needs a gud batsman in the last 5 players.
n it is none other than pathan. it just says, bring bak pathan, even if he is not gud in bowling, he is gud with batting.
i think chappel forgot tat it is bcoz of pathan only india was saved in the practce match b4 the tests. bcoz of his 100+ only, india got qualified for the tests.

wat do ya say.

the pathetic way all those indian batsmen got out. If atleast one of them had stayed with dinesh kartik....no one could have stopped India from winning.
