Kill your TV.

You'll be happier.

Way too many. But there were way too many when it began. Are there really people stupid enough to believe in these days of lawsuits over anything & everything that what's going on, on the tv is reality? If you're doing something in hopes of winning money, fame, etc. that's not reality. That's a game show & I never did care much for those either.

One reality TV show is too many. They're a waste of airtime and should be scrapped! Especially Big Brother (A bunch of people sitting in a house, watching other people sitting in a house!) and the X-factor etc. (Creating more and more manufactured celebs like Girls Aloud (Grr, I hate e'm) and Leona.)

This sort of TV is numbing the collective mind of the Nation! It needs to be sorted out now!

There are far too many for my liking. However some people prefer this style of TV to what they call "boring" news, documentaries, serious plays etc. Reality TV makes them feel important as they can influence the result by voting for their "favourite". Sadly this often results in people being voted for because of who they are - rather than for their expertise in whatever competition they are taking part in.

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes! Last night you couldn't move for them, two sub-standard song contests and big brother all within prime time telly!
I'll admit I watch Big Brother normally (I am neither clinically depressed or sub normal intellectually, just a tad insane!), but NOTHING has happened (yawns)! As far as I can tell they're all literally climbing the walls to get out of that house!

I ensconced myself in my bedroom and switched over to the Best Of Top Gear instead, but when I wanted to watch digital downstairs I literally had to fight over the remote to catch the end of Most Haunted (so bad it's good) as my mom wanted to watch the Soap star Superstar results!

ITV have celebrity ice dancing comming up (sigh) and yet another Simon Cowel 'talent' contest. He's already had six months of airtime!!!!

Far 2 many, but it seems the producers have found a way of making money without having 2 come up with an original idea of their own.

Because of that they will probably be around forever.

If people didn't watch them, and participate, usually by voting, the advertisers wouldn't pay to put them on TV. They are cheap to produce and don't require any talent. As long as they have an audience these programs will be around. I wonder about the mentality of the people who watch them.

Yes, tv is full of these programs, and what really gets my goat is, call so and so now to make your bet, claim, vote. just make some programs we can actually watch and enjoy.

For instance just what is jade goody and her family doing back on tv, what a bunch of morons

yeah ... but I call them sub reality because most wind up being about people who are still more than your average joe ... and I no longer find it entertaining ... greatful for movie channels
