Hello there. If I understand you correctly you are asking what are the days that your wife is fertile and most likely to conceive. Are you saying that your wife's menstrual cycle is only three days long? That would be fairly unusual.
In any case, you count the first day of her menstrual period as day number one. She will ovulate half way between the period she just had and the one that she is expecting. The number of days between periods is important. If she menstruates every 28 days then she will ovulate on day 14. It would be best to make love on day 12, 13, 14 and 15. After that it is unlikely that the egg will be viable by the time the sperm get to it. The egg can only be fertilized for 12 to 24 hours after it is released. The days before your wife ovulates are good days as the fluid that the cervix produces will keep the sperm alive and help them to reach the egg more quickly.

When my friend counted for 17 days and contacted his wife, his wife became pregnant - These exact time or date are purely private and personal and pls don't depend of anybody's advise. But from 6th to 16 day there is every chance, that depends of the health factor of both male and female. Please also follow Lady Trinity's above advice.
