i think the lakers can reach the finals. With LO out they beat dallas and other strong teams. W/ LO back i think the Lakers can reach the finals with there depth and experience in the playoffs. So do you think the lakers can reach the finals or at least the western finals?

The Los Angeles Lakers will most absolutely and most definitely reach the finals; no doubt about it.

Their depth and experience in the playoffs? You just have to remember that this is not the same Lakers team of five years ago. Who's left that was there back then? Kobe? Oh, yeah, Phil Jackson, sure...but all these other guys, they don't have that experience. Just because the Lakers won last night, it doesn't mean that they've secured their place in the Finals. It's not even half way through the season yet. They've been on a roll this season so far, yes, but this year is full of fierce competition...there are about ten teams right now with the potential to make it to the Finals and win the championship, the Lakers aren't dominating or anything. But just because they won one game against the Mavs because Vujacic got lucky and drained some threes, it doesn't mean the Lakers will beat the Mavs in a seven-game series. My prediction is the Lakers will make it to the second round of the playoffs before being ousted. Conference Finals will be Mavs versus either Spurs, Suns, or Jazz.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Lakers fan but I think not this year. Next year probably.
Maybe they can reach Western Conference Finals this year.

They will definitely make it to the Western finals, but they play too inconsistently to make it all the way.
