Maybe its something in your diet thats causing this. I would look on the internet and see if theres anything you can do that will make this better for you.

I have oily skin as well, but the good thing about that is that we age less than others as our skin is less prone to wrinkling, true fact. Now, the best soap to use is not something harsh as it can aggravate your skin and cause your sebum glands to produce too much oil. Oily skin needs moisture too. The right moisture, our own natural moisture, called the p.h. balance. Whatever ever you do, don't ever use alcohol on your skin. It strips the skin of it's natural p.h. balance and can confuse and aggravate your sebum glands causing a big case of the greasies.
I love Dove soap for sensitive skin. It's gentle, perfume free and hypoallergenic. I would recommend using a facial scrub. St. Ives Apricot scrub is the best. It really gets deep down in your pores and gets out all the gunk and blackheads. Use this scrub once a week for a month, then after that about once a month to maintain.
After you have scrubbed clean your pores, apply a mint julep or oatmeal mask to your skin which will tighten and shrink your pores. Applying an oatmeal mask about once a week is good to combat excessive oil breakouts. Oatmeal absorbs and sucks up a lot of oil like a vacuum. You can buy oatmeal scrubs at Walmart or any drugstore, or go online for hundreds of home made remedies.
I like to use Witch Hazel as an astringent. It's natural, gentle and cheap. It feels like water going on, but it really works. I always get compliments on my clear skin. Just use a cotton ball or pad to apply. Use every morning and night.
If you like using sunscreen, then try to find one for oily skin, or one that is hypoallergenic or non-comedegenic. Perhaps calling a dermotologist and asking the doc or nurse, sometimes the receptionist can know, about recommending a good facial sunscreen for oily skin.

I suggest that first of all, cut out all these facial washes/scrubs, they only upset the ph of your skin and can bring you out in spots. Use a flannel and warm water to wash your face, NO SOAP!
I also suggest you invest in some oil-free moisturiser. Also, you might be allergic to some of the ingredients in the moisturisers. You skin is oily therefore try to focus on the dry spots. If your T-Zone is oily only use oil-free moisturiser.
You might also want to have a chat to your doctor as he/she might be able to prescribe you some medication to help clear up the oily skin.

right....
your oily skin needs to be clean all the time, so using a good facial wash is a great start. you need one thats specifically for oily skin which will have anti bacterial agents to stop breakouts too.
you need to be using a lotion moisturiser, one thats light but moisturising, because with washing and taking away the oil the skin panics and produces even more which makes the problem worse! so again, one designed only for oily and problematic skin. you do need to be using one though, as it will begin to balance the oil production and protect your skin from free radicals from the environment. all the good skincare houses do have mens lines now, so its worth investing in some good base products to get your started. do talk to the beauty consultant working there...theyre all well trained and can give you even more tips on additional products which will help your skin to feel alotmore comfortable. good luck! xxx

I have excessively oily skin, too. Despite what others may say, I use a scrub twice a day. My preference: L'Oreal Pure Zone Pore Unclogging Scrub Cleanser
After washing, I use a toner...pretty much any toner works for me. Then I use my moisturizer (one made for oily skin)...and last, I put on my acne treatment (peroxide cream) where needed (usually completely covering my forehead).
I use this routine morning and night. About once a week I use a mask - since you are a guy, I am assuming that using a Mint Julep mask for 20 minutes isn't your style. I also like: DDF Sulfer Theraputic Mask (10% Sulfer). It works in just 5 minutes! Available at Sephora.com

try a soap free cleanser for sensitive/irritated skin as your skin may be over producing oils to compensate for the use of harsher cleansers and scrubs. Scrub only once a week - that's more than enough. Ask your pharmacist to help you choose a moisturiser as they will very likely be able to guide you to an oil free moisturiser which is what you need.

I feel your pain!!!!!! I'm female and even i find it hard to wear makeup, because it looks my forehead is raining lol. There is hope tho.... I noticed that a lot of food i ate made the problem worse, like chocolate and chips (you know, the nice stuff!). If you pay attention to when your skin looks worse and then try avoiding these things, it could make a big difference. Also, try a deep heat mudd mask once a week. It will draw out all the impurities in your skin that cause your pores to become blocked and greasy. And the most obvious one of all, water, water and more water. Flushes the cr@p out! Good luck x

I would have thought that using a scrub would be worse as you would be making the oil glands more active. There are oil free skin products out there, You can also buy packs of 'papier poudre' (think that's how you spell it!) which are basically little strips of powdered blotting paper to mop up the excess oil throughout the day. Suggest you see a dermatologist- your GP may be able to refer you.
On the plus side, your skin should be less prone to wrinkles!

Ever heard of manscaping dude? Well I know its a bit gay...but u need to start gettting facials. You need to use a Mint Jeluppe mask. Go to ur nearest spa or beauty school n start getting facials once a week. Alsoin the meantime u might want to use a bit of baby powder...it asorbs moisture. Moisture can also cause rashes...thats why they use it on babies..to absorb the moisture so they don't get rashes. Right after u shave blot as much of the moisture on the surface as u can...then dust a little powderr onto ur hands then lightly dab it onto ur face. U cn also use oil absorbing sheets by Cornsilk.

first try using a delicate moisturiser like johnsons (baby one) have you tried any herbal remedies as i hear these can be very good for the skin, you could also try using a more natural face scrub like salt & water which is one of the most natural you can get (sounds odd but it does help-ive tried this) apart from that a trip to the doctors for advice or a independent consulatant (as the usual ones will only try and sell you their brand items)
Hope this helps
