Hi Raj, according to scientists the latest tests show that water is not colorless as was thought but is actually blue,but you need a lot of it to see the blueness.

it has a faint blue color, although it is made up of gasses, hydrogen and oxygen, it has the same effect as hydrogen peroxide, the regular medical standard hydrogen peroxide is 5% and 95% water, but it looks clear because there is a lot of water in it, although water is blue, when you have pure hydrogen peroxide, you can see the faint blue color although it is made of the same gasses, h2o2. so the color of water is blue

water is clear.
in some cases it tends to look blue or green due to the fact that its catching reflections of things around it. such as the sea. it looks green because of the stuff thats in it.
