OK so i have just broke up with my finance (on new years eve!) who i have been with for 2 years almost. I broke up with him as i was not happy and experiencing feelings for some one else. This guy is like one of my best friends but since i broke up with my finance we have been texting alot and hes calling me sugar and calling me beautiful (which i dont mind as i REALLY like him.) I am sure he likes me too but how can i be certain. Also how long should i leave it to ensure that i am not on the rebound or anything as i dont want to start another relationship until i am over this one properly. I just really like him and want to kiss him every time i see him. Is this normal after a week of breaking up with someone. My head is in peices and im so confused. Please someone help with this. I like him so much but i dont know whether to say something or just wait to see if something happens eventually. Thanks

Sounds like there is nothing to get over... you broke up with him because you didn't have feelings for your fiance' anymore... and now you are going after the guy you have feelings for... sounds like you aren't on the rebound just getting want you want....

I think you should go for the guy you are falling for...You date the ones you dont like and vice versa.....I know 2 years seems a long time to realize you dont want him anymore, but love is love..everyone has their different thresh holds of how they deal with it

i really don't have much sympathy for you. you're the one who broke up with him and now you want him back? i hope he's playing you like some second rate fiddle. that'd be poetic justice if he was just leading you on and then when you asked for him back, he just said "nope! i'm seeing someone else!"
