They are not! Blacks are just as racist or even more racist than whites are.

Trust me I am black and see it everyday and those same black's that complain about whites being racist are more racist than there white counterparts.

Because too many people still believe that the world is flat. Unfortunately I must admit that your question sounds the same. The things are not as easy as we want them to be.
You're asking for the informative answer on the emotional question. And it won't ever lead to the good result, cuz there aren't any numbers which can tell you: " In 2007 there are X number of white racists and Y number of black ones in the world" It can only be applied to a definite situation: You've experienced more white racism, but in the same time Screamin' Banshee experienced more of the black. So, You should ask it like: "Why are there so many white racists in the place I live?"

I think racism only exists because people make it! If a white or black person cracks a joke about one another in the company of friends, so what! That doesn't mean they will go say it to some stranger. I can count on my 1 hand how many times I've actually witness someone being degraded due to racism. There are far more problems we need to deal with other than someone cracking a racist joke to a friend. So what if you over heard it, it wasn't said to you, get over it! Sorry, I can't help but vent when it comes to racism, if everyone doesn't get so touchy over things, there would be no racism. I'm sick of the media trying to make controversy over something that doesn't exist. Everyone has some type of racism not just black and white. It all stems from culture differences.

How is it that we are more racist. Yes in the past this may have rang true with how society and culture was back then, but we are now in 2007 and alot has changed, Get over it.

In this modern day and age, there are schools for blacks only, churches for blacks only, scholarships for blacks only etc etc etc. If a white person even dreamed of doing that automatically we are deemed racist. Seems a bit hypocritical to me. Where is the equality in that?
No I am not racist, I believe we should all be given the same chances, put in the same amount of work, all work for what we have and want, receive the same benefits/handouts (where needed) regardless of our colour or creed. Equality

That's a false belief...... but anyways, people do think white people is more racist simply because they are not used to think black can be racist too... Also racism did start with the white against the black, but times have changed....
