Well yeah, news happens 24/7, although it wasn't til Ted Turnner started CNN in the early 80s that there were 24 hour news channels.
It's true alot of it is recycled news. My complaint is most american networks have nothing about other countries 'news other than their own. Yet other countries Canada , England etc have news about the world as well as their own domestic news.
Perhaps this would help Americans understand what goes on in the rest of the world and that it really isn't all about them.

obviously, news channels need 2 work seven days a week. Every mankind expects the updated information about the activities happening in their surrounding. And this can be done through news channels only. so they need to work 24/7 365 days
