Cover the wax with a brown paper bag, iron over paper bag. A light cloth between the paper bag n iron is a good idea too.
Wax will come off onto the bag. Dont set iron any hotter then the wool setting.

To remove candle wax from any surface, place item in the freezer for about 15 mins. It should drop right off your items when you take it out.

Place a piece of kitchen roll over the wax, iron over the paper carefully and the wax should soak into the roll. I have just done this myself successfully

Put a piece of paper bag over where the candlewax is and lightly iron.
The wax should get softer and peel off.

Now I'm FAR from a clothing expert but seems to me that you could heat it up again. Like having your buddy hold the item up and then you hit it with a hair dryer to let the candlewax melt again and drip right out.

Sorry, I'm a guy.... my solution to everything is fire.

The best solution for this is to look at it for the last time and then discard it in the nearest garbage can:)
