You can use limewire correctly and not get viruses, but don't get me wrong there is viruses on there but usually only when you download porn or something like that. If you get caught using limewire by the police then you will have to pay a dollar or maybe more for every song that is on your pc. Ive got about 1000 so I would have a big fine lol. But Hope this helps.

Limewire is not illegal but downloading copy right content using Limewire is illegal.
P2P is the best and easitest way to spread virus. because a guy who wants to infect would pack a virus and an exe file name it as a MPEG and share it.
You would download and thinking it as mpeg would double click it.
If you need any further clarifications you can get back to me

Totally, especially after the Grokster lawsuit! RIAA heavy thuggies extorted the Limewire programmer developers to put in blocks, possible trackers...
P2P is what your computer needs to even get on the Internet!
The majority of P2P is legit. I use torrents for grabbing huge ISOs for DVDs and CDs of *BSD, and GNU/Linux
and, I run BEHIND a firewall! http://ipcop.org uses any Pentium Class machine from a 90Mhz up to about an 800Mhz with 32 to 96Mb of RAM, and two NICS.
The Limewire team wrote the new, safe, Frostwire (equivalent to limewirePRO) and host it off shore. It is included in http://pclinuxos.com with 5500 games, programs, apps. suites, browsers...

i'm no longer helpful no matter if Limewire is considered unlawful, yet i don't believe of it really is as long as you're literally not promoting the song you receive to human beings. Like with maximum classes, it would want to grant you with a pandemic, yet there is no longer a assure. the first time I downloaded this methodology to my laptop it labored nicely for some weeks, yet then it would want to right away open anytime I grew to grow to be my laptop on. that would or received't be a project for you. I deleted it off my laptop and re-put in it, and it truly is been operating fantastic for the previous few months. i don't believe of it truly is too risky on your laptop, yet there is continuously a chance with classes like this. i doesn't reccomend utilising Kazaa, which will cut back to rubble your laptop very badly, yet Bearshare is yet another halfway respectable software that doesn't damage your laptop.
