How to become a drama therapist?

To become a qualified drama therapist is it still necessary to gain seperate degrees in both drama and psychology (or similar) or are there courses/degrees for drama therapy in it's own right these days? How long is the course(s)?

I have my masters in counseling psych, so a little different. But, in my experience, I have seen complete masters programs in "art therapy," but I'm not sure about solely drama therapy. I would think that you would first need your bachelors degree (not necessarily psychology, just make sure you take the pre-req classes for a psych masters degree). And then do a little searching around for masters degrees in art/drama therapy. The bachelors would obviously take around 4 years, and the masters would take about 2 additional years.

I had a drama therapist even as i become in well being facility n believe me, you face alot of annoying circumstances...i think it relies upon what customer team you pick to artwork with, yet my journey become that alot of people did not delight in it, or have the skill for it. I loved it although. i presumed it become large relaxing, yet then, i continuously wanted to be a drama therapist myself! also, what you do relies upon on your putting too.
