Congrats!

You are discovering some of the coolest music made in the last 50 years or so.

Check out The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Steely Dan, Crosby stills & Nash, Yes.......and on and on!

I think that's awesome, don't let people tell you you're weird for loving some of the greatest music out there. People looked at me weird when I was fourteen for listening to those bands and others, and now at 26 I can say that I really do have a great appreciation for all music....keep it alive :)

I think that is very cool, it shows an open mind and a certain maturity that you choose to listen to different or older types of music...... just because you like it and not because it's what your peers tell you should listen to.
Nothing wrong with having diverse music tastes.

It is TOO COOL.
I'm 54, I grew up with them and went to great lengths to expose my son (19) to the Greats.
Try out "Demons and Wizards" by Uriah Heep. 1 of my most fav's.
Without an open mind you can miss out on so much and by making up your own mind what you like, you are well on your way to becoming your own person and being happy in yourself.

You have an impeccable taste in music, I must say. British Classic Rock is some of the best music ever!

it's not about being cool. it's about what makes you happy, what sounds good to your years and what makes your skin crawl. it doesn't matter what others think when it comes to music. it's probably the one thing that the choice is completely yours. so listen for yourself and not for anyone else. i think that the bands you are listening to are a great base for everything, but don't get stuck there. keep on exploring

Not if she is doing it because it's the new "cool" thing to do, which if your bragging on here you probabley don't even like that stuff. I have more respect for someone that openly likes NSync then someone that listens to music just cause it's "cool."
