Sadly though, the answer is "both".

Older Pentium 4's do not support EM64T (This is Intel calls their 64-Bit implementation.) and newer Pentium 4's support it.

So know if your processor supports 64-Bit is to look at the box of your processor and see if there is any label that says "64-Bit / EM64T Supported".

your question is wrong!!!
some of P4 processors are 64bit technology & some of them are not.
