Ha! I can't say I'm bothered, considering the disrespectful, insulting crap he's spouted about various nations and their inhabitants over the years. What a waste of our money, keeping him all this time.

Prince Philip is a Prince of the United Kingdom, A Prince of Greece and a Prince of Denmark. He gave up the right of succession to the Greek and Danish Throne when he married His cousin, Princess Elizabeth. He is a great great grandson of Queen Victoria so throw in a bit of German blood. Prince Philips DNA was used to establish the authenticity of the remains of the Russian Imperial Family to whom he is related on the Danish side. So to answer your question it is not appropriate to call Him Zorba.

God this is the problem, you feel you have to apologise after every remark, no calling the the Duke of Edinburgh Zorba is not offencive and knowing what he's like i don't think he'd give a shi* anyway

No- he can take a joke. He's funny and he's Greek. He likes that kind of humour- I think a lot of people take him far too seriously.
For example, HRH Philip was in Australia and an Aboriginal danced for him. HRH Philip asked, "Are you still throwing spears at each other?" To which the aboriginal man answered, "Yep- still. And we eat our hunt too" and HRH Philip thought it was hilarious as did the abroignal gent. The newspapers blew it into a racist blah-blah-blah but the aboriginal man went on TV to explain that it was joke, he took it as a joke and he thought it was funny.
