definitley yes!! this really annoys me. people can live far to easily off benefits and therefore there is no need for them to get a job. I have only recently finished university and am in my first job and it wasnt until now that i realised just how much people get taxed and it really annoys me thinking what this money is being used for. i have no problem with people that have a real reason for not working but theres far to many people that are just to lazy to get a job.

Yes. I'm unable to work due to a medical condition-but would love to be able to hold a job again! But I know so many people who have nothing wrong with them whatsoever-and they refuse to get a job,as they can get benefits for everything. In my opinion, they need to push these people back into work-and if they won't,keep decreasing their payments over a certain amount of time periods until they're getting nothing-letting them know they've received their maximum benefits quotient. They'll have no choice but to get their lazy backsides to work then!

Claiming benefit in UK is very difficult. Most people are simply not eligible. The most ineligible group are new arrivals, those claiming asylum. Such people often get very little help, but once they are given a permit to work, they are allowed to do menial work of a kind such as washing dishes and the usual cleaning jobs.
If anyone thinks it is easy to claim benefit, try it and see.
If you are seeking benefits, the most important benefit you should try to get is housing benefit. This is paid by your local authority and once you have it all the other lesser benefits are attached to it. If you've got £6000 in the bank, you will not get any benefits. If you are a pensioner with a private as well as the state pension, you will not get any benefits.
To get benefits in UK you've got to be rock bottom poor, out of work, unemployable and rolling around in a wheel chair. Believe me.

I think so. No such thing existed for our grandparents generation that made this nation once great.
Hard work, perserverance, education, respect for elders, civic pride, family, church humility, traditional values, national service & love of Crown and Country made this nation great, not Labour or Marxist hand-outs to ne'er-do-wells who have two fit arms and legs but a big fat arrrse they won't get up off.
We all should shout a collective:
OI!!! PULL YOUr FUCKKING FINGER OUT!
I did. I once was absolutely skint, but I found work. I served, got educated and now I'm an employer.

Yes! I was told I could claim income support till my son is 16 (now 6) but was given no help in getting work. I decided to go to uni to improve job prospects so now receive NO benefits at all. No incentive to learn and get back into job market. When I tried to sign OFF benefits I tried phoning, visiting the job centre and writing to them. Constantly told to speak to someone else and when I thought it was finally sorted I discovered they'd just kept on paying me. Finally got them to stop my benefits but it shouldn't be that hard - took almost three months! No incentives to stop claiming or to improve your employment prospects.

omg are you asserting there is in basic terms one form of guy or woman in an excellent political occasion and the republicans get to %. which one that is? wow! you're a moron! you spot there are various categories of human beings on all ends of the political spectrum, see there are the fat *** lazy people who want something for no longer something via fact its easier. then there is the over knowledgeable that want to offer the lazy human beings besides the fact that they want via fact they actually are lazy as properly and did no longer want to pay for their training. now i understand this could be difficult for you, yet in basic terms attempt and picture that they are republicans that are no longer all like bush too, marvelous... see i'm greater of a average republican, no longer an severe republican. in basic terms like pelosi and obama are not precisely the comparable. now i understand you're maximum possibly some moronic communist that desires absolutely everyone to be precisely the comparable so we are able to all be amazing robotic human beings yet that may not so. we connect political events via fact they characterize maximum of what we have faith in, in basic terms like your dumb *** maximum possibly thinks that each and absolutely everyone republicans are the two bumpkins from the south or great wealthy company fat cats. those look in direct odds with one yet another too do no longer they?
