Human "psyche" is a very complex thing, and nobody has even a cue of what it may do and no do.
To answer yes, there are magic abilities ... in all of us. How do you know someone in your back is looking at you ? And does a tree know that you are looking at it ? (don't say No too fast, people say you have to talk to plants if you want to keep them happy, oops, healthy. And also, yes some people can have more psyche than others: hypnotisers for example.
On the other hand, no scientific evidence has ever been found that mind has extraordinary capabilities, and ALL the people pretending to have such capabilities have been proved cheats! One of the most popular was Uri Geller, who admitted himself that he was fooling people!
My conclusion is that to believe in extra-sensorial powers is not science, it is credulity exploited by a few clever people.
