aspect is a piece of information about a topic, usually on look and appearance. therefore choose five characters and list the normal characteristics of each character and the differences between them

Aspects are features. So aspects of character are things like responsible, tolerant etc. Your comparisons should focus on showing how certain characters are in effect, polar opposites of others.

It's asking you to compare and contrast the characters. "Aspects" are "characteristics".
Joe and Sally are tall... but Joe is a boy, and Sally is a girl.
