You will not be able to get pregnant at the moment as you have no period which means you are unlikely to be ovulating and so cannot conceive. The average time for fertility to return to normal after the injection is around 10 months but it can take up to around 18 months. If your period has not returned within a yearr of your last jab then you should see your doc to check out why.

Taking the jab should not effect your ability to conceive permanently!!! It just takes different women different lengths of time to return to normal after the injection.

Hi, I've been on the pill for 18years and decided last year to start trying for a family too.
I've had 2 periods in 7 months and I'm currently on day 76 of this cycle. Dr says it can take anywhere up to 12 months for my cycles to return to normal!
I've been charting my basal body temp every morning to see if I'm ovulating and I'm taking Vitex a herbal remedy for irregular periods. Nothing to report as yet but I'm doing what all the books say. I want as much information as possible for my next gyno visit to see if he will put me on clomid - a drug that promotes ovulation and is supposed to be very successful at helping with falling pregnant.
I wish you all the best in this frustrating time!

If you are ovulating, then yes, you can get pregnant, but this would be very unlikely. Have you gone to the doctor to find out why you're not getting your period? That's likely what you're going to have to do. If you do start showing signs of ovulation (like egg-white consistency cervical mucus), then you may be ovulating, but it's very unlikely without a period. Plus, you are going to want to get your reproductive health in line before you get pregnant. If you are not getting periods, then you need to address the problem that is preventing periods - it may be a problem for pregnancy as well.
Good luck.

If you're 100% sure that you're NOT pregnant, you might want to check with your doctor to find out why you're not getting your period. It sounds like you're not ovulating, which would prevent you from getting pregnant to start with.

In response to a question u have answered

s k = are u SURE u are not??? Its VERY rare to get 2 positives and not be pregnant, the tests work on the pregnancy hormone and would not come back positive unless the hormone was present in your system. It isn't present if u are not pregnant. Im not convinced, and if i were u i would get a second opinion
