There are many, many colleges and universities around the world where you can major in astronomy or in something very similar (for example, I went to MIT and majored in physics because they don't have an astronomy major, but I took just about every astronomy course they offered and I was more than prepared enough for a graduate astronomy program). If you want to become an astronomer, you'll need to get a Ph.D. in astronomy, in which case it really doesn't matter where you go for your undergraduate degree.

You will find many universities will offer the study of astronomy. It may be an individual facility or be part of their science or more speficially their physics department.

As I do not know where you are from I am unable to offer names of institutions within your area but I am happy to suggest to you to go into Google and type the words "astronomy" and "university" and click on the button. If course if there is a particular institution you are concidering the easiest way would be to call them.

Good luck!
