Hi. Wondering if anyone can advise please-in an interview situation, is it best to wear all dark colours on a skirt suit with dark stockings and heels, or better to break up the colours! HELP! i need to get this right! Also, am i better with stayups or a suspender belt because mixed responses from friends and i DON't wear tights or trouser suits. SO you know, my interview is on Friday and its for a bank as a p.a.
Thanks

You should wear what you feel is comfortable and smart, if you are happy with what you are wearing, you will be more confident within yourself. But yes I would I wear the dark colours and wear a lighter top. Good luck

A dark suit with a white shirt is the best attire for a bank. And wear stay ups, you will see the suspender belt's outline on a skirt suit as the skirt is probably quite fitted. I am an interviewer occasionally and thats what I look for - clean lines and simple clothing.

Your question puzzles me. It mainly puzzles me because women tend to only wear stockings when they're trying to be sexy for a man. I can only therefore assume that you are a man pretending to be a women so that you can get off on answers mentioning stockings. Women would never ask their friends about stockings for interviews - bizzarre.

You have asked 5 questions and all of them about stockings!

Stockings are far more uncomfortable than tights, also they have a tendency to come loose / fall down which is why they are never a good idea to wear to work or an interview.

Keep your dress toned down. Banks are very respectable places and if you are going to be a PA, you will need to look professional at all times and not like you are off to the Paris Fashion Show any minute.
A dark skirt, knee length, not over, clean dark shoes, barley black or black stockings. Dark jacket, clean blouse.
Not too much make up and neat and tidy hair, tied up.
You've got the job!

Go for a dark knee length skirt and a jacket with a clean white shirt. That goes completely with the professional look. and yes, make sure that your shoes are clean and match with your attire. Also wear minimum jwellery and make-up.

A dark skirt suit (black, grey etc) and a white shirt. Black hold ups about 15 denier and heels (but not killers). Keep it smooth and simple. Minimal jewellery. Works for me. Good luck.
