i just need to revise these sentences to avoid sexist language.. my answers are enclosed in parenthesis.. but i may get better answers than mine.


1. The president of the corporation, a woman, met her sales staff.
(The president of the corporation met her sales staff.)

2. The chairman of the meeting handled the debate well.
(the chairperson of the meeting handled the debate well)

3. All manmade components were checked for microscopic cracks (no answer)

4. All the elcetronics engineer and their wives attended the conference.
(no answer)

1. The president of the corporation met the sales staff. (If you leave her in, it is still sexist as it points out her sex)
2. you did correctly.
3. You need to change manmade to handmade or something like that.
4. All the electronics engineers and their spouses attended the conference.

Thesecond one was good. The first could be the President of the corperation met the Sales Staff. the Third one could be "All Humanmade Components were checked for microscopic cracks" All the Electronics enginers and their spouses attended the conferance. Your welcome have a good time!!!!

ur revised sentences for no.1 and no.2 are fine,

'manmade' is not really a sexist word, it's a common, accepted word for non natural entities and,

no.4, maybe instead, all the electronic engineers and their families attended the conference
