my baby's sex?

In which month i can know in scan that whatis the sex of my baby, my 4th month of pregnancy is almost finished. and when the chances of miscarig finish.

Most ultrasounds can determine sex of the baby by 5 months (if the baby is cooperating) though it can be done earlier. We found out at 17 wks.

Miscarriage risks fall dramatically at 12 weeks and drastically at 20 weeks. Though it is possible to lose a baby at any time during a pregnancy, you are far enough along to not worry so much about that and just enjoy what you can of your pregnancy.

I'm pretty sure they do an ultra sound -to make sure everything looks ok- somepoint after 4 mo's. You can ask then if they can see the sex, but the longer you wait the better the chances.
And also I believe 3 mo's is point of miscariage, although it can happen at any time.

They can pick up the baby's sex after the 20th week of pregnancy (beginning of 5th month). You can still have a late miscarriage in the second trimester, but after 24 weeks it is called pre-term birth b/c the baby can survive outside of the womb w/ specialized care.

I found out the sex of my 3 at 12 weeks. Miscarriage most likely occurs up till 12 weeks, it can happen later on but less likely. Good luck with your baby.
