I've recently had a new sky+ box put in and already i'm having problems. when i view a recorded programme every so often it keeps flicking on and off. A black screen keeps flashing and to be honest, its doin me head in! Anybody else been having similar problems and if so how do i fix it? cheers

There was something similar like this on Watchdog last year. Lots of people were reporting problems with the Sky+ boxes. Sorry but I think you need to report it to Sky and ask for a new box (of course that means holding on the phone for ages before you get through but I think it's the only way to solve the problem)

I have the Sky guy coming out on Thursday - they are blaming the Gale force winds we had a few days ago..the box is suffering from shock... !?

like all electrical goods, my electrician says turn it off and on again, however if this ingenious plot doesnt work sky were pretty good at replacing our box!
