i Believe it is. I so hate January. I always feel so down and depressed and the expectations that it will be a better year than the year that passed makes it even worse as you are trying so hard to make it better. I always feel sad about returning to work. Its that same job and you know you're not happy with it but cannot find a way out.
I prayed this morning that god would give me and those close to me, strength and love and happiness...i pray the same for you.x

Statistically speaking January has the most divorces and suicides. Probably because of the weather and the anti-climax of Xmas and the new year, few people have much to look-forward to in January and February as the holidays are over, people are back in work and the summer is a long way off.
A lot of people get depressed this time of year and it can Be referred to as SAD - Seasonally Affected Disorder, if you have trouble coping with January go and see your doctor they can often provide you with simple ways of getting through.

I see January as a way of starting anew. I make resolutions and stick to them. I also make plans for later in the year, like holidays and planning things for the garden. Parties and barbecues etc.
I also love to watch the days gradually getting longer. I love January.
