Seriously, how can I delete my account? I want it to be deleted or removed properly. I want to take a rest from this. I can only do that If I don't have an account anymore.

Get a friend you trust to log in and set a new password on your account and not tell it to you.
Then you won't be able to get into the account.
But if you change your mind later the friend can let you back in.

You CAN delete your full Yahoo account.
However, you cannot close your Y!Answers account individually. Same with Y!360, Y!Messenger or any other Yahoo service.
One way is to delete your Yahoo account completely at
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/changing_users/edit-23.html
There you shall see red colored font (in middle). Just below it, you shall find 'Account Deletion' link. Click on that. And follow the instructions to delete your Yahoo account completely. Your all Yahoo services shall be automatically deleted.
Now if you want to retain your unique Yahoo ID, sign up again immediately with the same ID as earlier. Now you wont be part of all the Yahoo services, ofcourse unless, if you opt for them intentionally.

yes you can delete an account.go to yahoo help and type delete account..you'll b provided with the steps..I've done this before....make sure you have an alternate id
