HELP !

The laptop wont power up without pressing the on button 1000's of times, any ideas?

May indeed be that the "pip" on the inside of the power switch is broken. If that was the case and you can turn it on "eventually" then it may be that one good hard push should turn it on. What may also be happening is that the switch is intermittent for this (or other reasons) and you are confusing the power management. When you do turn it on, go into BIOS settings and turn power management off. That way the power management software won't try to put the PC in standy or Off with multiple key presses. Really does need looked at though.

The conection in the button from the inside it proobly damaged. send it to get repaird, thats ur best hope
