I'm an hour glass shape and I have a small waste but when I put a wide belt over my waste it just made me look like a box. Or maybe it's just in my head.. anyway as it was a pretty expensive belt I just wanna wear it so any suggestions on what to do with it or how to wear it w/o it making me look boxy? heh.

Well, just use that belt often so as to give accent to your figure. Don't despair if you happened to buy an expensive one. For sure, you will be able to use it in a very special occasion.

well, i know two foolproof ways:
one is to wear it following your shape or wear it loose...put it over a dress or a simple top and jeans and you're good to go...
with the color, if you want to show off your figure, make the belt darker than any other thing you are going to wear, the vice versa if you don't wanna expose it
