Free players wear member clothes: Some yes. Most of it no.
Cape of skill: Reach lvl 99 in any skill
Teleport: Become member. You'll have easy laws and access to the Fairy rings. They are all over and easy to use.
Otherwise you just get a bunch of laws and teleport to the limited places on F2P. No other way on F2P.
On members there are like over 10 different methods of travelling. Ballooning, canoe, telerings, stones, Hanggliding, Carting etc... real convenient.
Cheers

No, free players cannot wear members clothing, since that is considering using a member item, which a free player cannot do. The exception to this rule is trimmed black, adamant, and rune armors. However, nonmembers can only receive these by trading, or if they happen to find them on the ground.
As for the Skill Capes, they are members items, found in members areas, so free players cannot get or wear them.
(Note that members cannot trade members items in nonmember worlds, even to other members)
Lastly, there is no way to teleport wherever you want. However, spells can teleport you to specific areas in a few cities. Members simply have more cities and places to teleport to, but not enough to cover every area anyone can possibly ask for.

Actual members items cannot be used on free worlds. Even if a member visits the free worlds his members armor/weapon gives no stat boosts and if he takes it off he can't put it back on.
The castlewars hood/cape is a members item.
The skill capes & hoods require level 99 in that skill and I believe their members items also.
There are several things that members can either make ( such as green dragonhide armor ) or find on the treasure trails ( such as trimmed armors ) that can be used & sold to freeworlders.
If you have a specific item in mind you can ask me directly instead of spending your points. Uath13@yahoo.com

They can wear some of the items. dragon armor, coif, etc. Basically if it can be smithed/crafted but says members only. then you can wear it but have to have the stat requirements (some are members only stats). Not 100% sure about the halbeards or lv 99 capes. Be very careful about any members items you purchase, because odds are you will pay more in a f2p world than in a p2p world for it because of the rare value.
note: don't waste your $ on trimmed armor, it has no stat bonus.
