Not at all.. they are two completely different technologies. In the US CDMA carriers (Sprint/Verizon) don't have the ability to use SIM card or Smartchip Technology whereas, all GSM phones/wireless carriers require a SIM(Subscriber Identity Module)... There is no way to convert as the CDMA phones lack the ability to accept SIMs and GSM phones cannot work without them..

I suppose if someone can sell you the chips, the instructions, and the software, and you happen to be very handy w/ a soldering iron on a multilayered PC board with micro components, anything's possible.
But I wouldn't do it. And you couldn't pay me to do it, because I can't guarantee that it would work after the 10th fix.

I think its available by doing a software change. It costs around 50 to 75 bugs to get software changed. U can go to a mobile repair shop and have done it. But this procedure is not legal one.
