Dear Karen,
You did not specify whether it was a beautiful dream or a bad dream (nightmare)...
Nevertheless, whenever an object, be it living or non-living keeps coming into your dreams it means that it has something of value to you, or it will affect your future and possibly has affected your past.
If you are dreaming of a man whom you are attracted to, it's obvious that you are pushing yourself unconsiously to be driven unto him...brainwave research also states that maybe that person is also dreaming of you and sends signals that your brainwave adapts.
If it's a family member (grandfather, father, brother, cousin, niece and so on) then there is a very big possibility that the family member needs help and attention from you. This sort of things has happened frequently to many people, including myself.
If the man you are dreaming has passed away, then maybe you miss him so much from the days you were with him stored in your memory..in some faith, they also believe that the person is trying to tell you something of danger..but may also be of fortune.

It's probably because he's always on your mind, but then again he's on mine too and I only had one dream about him and that was like 2 weeks ago or so! I had a dream that I was sitting around at a restaurant type place and I think Michael was perforoming and I had a really bad headache and he came over to me to give me some Tylenol lol!!! He was so sweet to me as he gave it to me, and I remember him smiling that sweet beautiful smile he has! I wish I would get more dreams about him...and I'm so jealous of your first dream you mentioned!!!! I never get dreams like that let, and you did with Michael on top of it!!!!! Lucky girl! =)

it depends on the other factors that you are also dreaming about. what else is happening with this man? Is it a wanting in your real life to find a man such as the one in your dreams? or is it a warning? I used to dream about my ex boyfriend when he was married and living in Oregon. but the dreams were nightmares they were bad dreams about him.. and then he moved back to where I live. I didnt listen to the dreams, and chalked them up to just being dreams that didnt mean anything. but now I wish I would of listened to them. they were a warning and I didnt heed to that warning.. and I ended up married to the child molestor.. m.. ff er.. didnt know he was so evil until after I married him. I divorced him and it was a horrible nightmare for years after wards. listen toyour dreams and what it is saying to you..
