Babies are not carried in a womans stomach. It would be digested. And yes a baby can hear from the womans uterus. I used music therapy to calm my baby down during the pregnancy and it also seemed to be a memory of the music for her because I played the same thing for her after she was born when she cried and she would stop and fall sleep.

Apparently babies can hear from about 22-24 weeks into the pregnancy. It is important to sing, talk & read to your baby while he is in the stomach. Your baby will know your voice when he is born. When my first child was born, my partner spoke & she turned her head towards him - she was only a couple of hours old.

Yes. The fetus developes hearing around the fourth month of pregnancy. Some women talk to their baby and dad can take part in this too!!

Yes,, I sang and read to both my babies in the womb.. I dont know if it has something to do with it, but both my children now excell in reading in school.. they were quick learners..
..I could tell they heard cause if they were moving about a lot and wouldnt calm down, Id sing or read to them, or play nice calming music, they would calm down and be real still as if listening.. it was amazing.. Id also massage my belly to calm them.. I know that worked..

Yes they can hear, but its all muffled like being in a stomach surrounded by water.

Yes that is how some babies het to know their mother quickly. Somemothers sing to them, talk, and my friend even dances. Babies are sopposed to know their mother and thats how!!!!

Yes they can. I clearly remember my unborn son jumping when the door was accidently slammed. Very reassuring!!!
