I have always known that my "real" age is 26, no matter how old I get. I will still be 26 inside when I'm 95.
I started wondering if others had discovered this about their real age and their emotional age, and was amazed to find that 95% of everyone I asked said they had, and almost instantly gave me the emotional age they would be forever.
What was revealing was that everyone's age was a definite number, not just "around this age."
I did discover that you usually have to be over 40 before this applies.
You won't have to think about it, that number will be obvious to you within a minute or so.
Tell me yours.

This was used in a sex offenders trial a couple of years ago.He was late 20's early 30's and made inappropriate contact with a minor. At trial he stated his"emotional age" was 16 so he was only a year older than her.He was sentenced to 16 years plus a psychiatric evaluation.
But in todays world your physical age is more than your emotional age(todays 50 is yesterdays 30) so yes I feel younger than my age.

Welcome to the club. Yes, I feel the same way which I am 40 something now, but I still feel 17 when I go surfing. It's funny once your in the ocean everything fades away which I expect to see old friends surfing with me, its like you see these new kids. The new kids are just like us but they are trying to find their place but we are already been there...
It's nice being older because you have already been their...

Yes, that is the nice thing of getting older... You know the B.S. before it even starts.....

1.Life does not begin at 40, it's a myth!
2.As we all get older, parts of us are wearing out, this is a fact.
3.We all have to accept, that at some time, we can't do what we used to be able to do with ease, joints have become stiffer(in my case, it's Arthritis), and we are not as quick as we once were, and as we get older we start to loose more friends, and relations, this is a fact.
4.As for "your only as old as the woman you feel", if you're able to feel one that's 30 or less you're extremely lucky, but you run the risk of being thought of as a "dirty old man", or a "cradle snatcher"
But it's not illegal to "window shop", but I advise you not to handle the "goods"
I'm a 59 year old, who used to think I was 22, but now I'm realistic!

My license says 24 but I feel like I'm 23 1/2.... it's downright strange.

While I'm not that far from your age myself, I don't think there are a lot of people on this board who can relate to your experience.
