First talk with her!!! Tell her Ur feelings and make her understand or ask her to tell U why is she so selfish and why is she engaged than with someone else!!!
If she doesnt understands than try the boy without her knoweledge and if he is the one and he deserves everything U could do to him than let HER go!!! If she cant handle it than U should blackmail her with this secret!!!!!!!!(this is a joke)
-talk to her
-find out whats about that guy
-find out whose more important to U

Goood luck and have a happy life U deserv it!!!!!!!
Be selfish!!!!!!!!! its worth it!!

You're walking through a minefield. You realize that, don't you?

Point #1: She's engaged. She shouldn't be considering doing anything with another guy.

Point #2: She is apparently asking you to leave the way clear for her with a second man! What's wrong with this picture????? Talk about wanting to have your cake and eat it too!

No matter how you slice it, you're on the verge of losing your friend...or at the very least, having a wedge driven between you that might never fully go away. 2 friends fighting over the same person is just stupid and not worth the damage it'll do. It's easy to think "Well if I get him, then I won't need her anymore because he'll be all I need!". Suuuure. Breakups happen, you want your friend back, but you hurt them...so they tell you to go to hell. That's got to be the most short-sighted outlook I've ever heard of, so I hope you wouldn't think along those lines.

There is only 1 clean way out, and that's open honesty. Remind her she's engaged, she has no claim on this other guy, and you like him. Furthermore, he likes YOU in return! She should be with her fiancee while you give things a shot with your mutual guyfriend.

So yes, she's being extremely selfish.

If she was truly your friend, then she would not care if you were with the guy. She is engaged and needs to focus on her own man. She is very selfish for acting this way. She should allow you the same chance to be happy, and she should be happy for you that you found a great guy that is interested! I say go for it and let her worry about her own problems.

of course you should go for it,if she gets up set then she shouldnt be with her boy friend and perhaps if she gets that up set her boy friend will see it and know there not meant to be together,so your doing both of you a favour you go for it thats not something a friend asks you to do not a true friend no matter how long its been

jesus! your friend is a total beyotch for being so jealous. The reason she wants you not to get with him is bc she knows her marriage wont last, and she wants (the guy that likes you) as a rebound.
