The only way to get sponsorship is to be upfront and ask, tell them what you are doing and why and what is in it for them ( wiiift). the worst thing that will ever happen when you ask is that you get told NO!

The more companies you ask the more you get told yes.

Dont take NO personally they are only rejecting the offer not you or what you are doing.

I am riding 16,000 kms around Australia for charity and I have 15 sponsors.I must have asked 100 plus companies, funnily enough the people who sponsor you are usually the ones you would expect the least .

Regardless of their size of business treat all your sponsors equally and dont seek sponsors from the same industry once a company comes on board , it is very bad manners and very disrespectful.

Sorry to answer a question with a question but were are leaving from i have friends that have done this trip from NewZealand and we are planning another trip across China next but some of the guys who haven't done that ride may be interested in joining you so if you can give some details we may be able to help, i own my own motorcycle shop and so do some of the others who made the last trip, BMW seem to be a good bet, they have sponsored
a few expeditions to prove the worthiness of their bikes. you just have to approach them but make sure you have all your plans worked out before you approach anyone.Just put yourself in their shoes , would you sponsor just anyone on one of these trips. I don't think so,
Do your homework and make sure you have every angle worked out before you start out looking for sponsorship otherwise you are wasting your time. Good luck. Baz.
