help me with my project plsss.i'm a secondary 3 student.i need to make a product with the theme of enteupeneurship in innovations,the product must have connection with mathmatics.you can provide some ideas for me about the product that you want me to make.
here are some guidelines:
-what is some daily disturbing problem?
-what is the solution for this?
-what product is possible to solve the problem
-the product must be originally created and not be patented before.
pls help me...i'll appreciate all your kind help

Best of luck to you in your project whatever you decide to do....If you stop worrying about it and sit quietly and examine everything you do from waking to sleeping...you might come up with your own answer...it's easy to ask for help but in learning....it's the path you take that is the fun of creating something of your own.......but I will suggest something because I pretend I'm you and I am the student...lol.....here is how I'm thinking...oh nooooo a project....what do I do first..the time is running out ....where do I go from here...I know I'll ask the people on yahoo answers...????? lol lol lol.....back to solving the problem.....Here is where I'd start.....what if you were leaving for school and you wanted some hot coffee from a fast food place....you are pulling up to the place to receive the HOT coffee but where are you going to put it ..??? While you drive the car....so you don't spill it on yourself and get a bad burn......so this is where you come up with some kind of product designed to hold the cup of hot coffee...see? this is how you start ....there are some gadgets that have been made for cars...but maybe you can come up with a newer and safer type. Or how about when you wake up in the night...if you wear glasses and need a place to keep them next to your bed instead of across the room....make a product especially designed for finding them in the dark.....something that glows in the dark....enough for now....keep your chin up and start thinking on your own.....best wishes..now and in the new year 2007..hugs from Mama Jazzy Geri

Gee, your teacher doesn't want much! Just go ahead and invent a revolutionary new idea that would probably make millions in the private sector, even though you might not be informed well enough to come up with a frame of reference. Teaching techniques like that during my 4th, 5th and 6th grade years are what caused my math skills to go from 2 grades ahead in the 3rd grade to 2 grades behind by the 7th grade.
I don't have any answers for you, but I can say that the whole project is bunk. Sorry that you have to deal with that.

Problem: Tailgating (riding too close to the car in front of you)
Solution: warning system that tells the driver behind you to back off
Product: Combined system that uses short-range radar to determine the distance to the car behind you, correlates with current speed to determine if it's too close, and if so activates a prominent warning light; when manually activated or if repeated offence occurs, takes photo of tailgater's car and prints out record of measurements
I'll let you figure out where the math comes in and draw up suitable examples. Note that while this system does not yet exist, the technology for all the necessary components does.
