I'm not sure what to say to you cuz your not gonna listen to any of us anyway, but seeing as they are back together maybe you should let sleeping dogs lie.. And the fact that he doesnt want you to tell is making it harder for you to make your decision, be it the right one or the wrong.. If you feel bad you should tell her but if it messes up their relationship, he will definately be thick with you, but maybe she might forgive him (very unlikely). If he tells her himself they'll have more of a chance together when the truth comes out but then she will wonder why YOU didn't tell her... You could have a chat with him and tell him that if he doesnt tell her, you will...
Or you could just keep shtum and hope for the best. Cant make that decision for ya tho... And the fact that you do actually like him is really messing it all up. Try not to think of your chances with him too much when your deciding what youre gonna do. Good Luck! xxxxx

This is playing on your mind too much isn't it? She isn't talking to you anyway so what do you have to lose?
I'm not going to go into whether you should or shouldn't have done what you did...it's happened now....Just tell her the truth & be set free from all this crap...at the end of the day she'll either get over it & begin speaking to you again or she won't....you only stand to gain...not lose now.
She has the right to know what went on so she also can be "set free"
It's probably playing on her mind most of the time but she won't be able to do much about her Guy until she knows for sure.
Maybe one of your other "friends" has already told her...she's clearly got the info from somewhere hasn't she? it hasn't come from you & it hasn't come from her snake of a b/f either.....put the poor girl out of her misery.
At least she can then decide on what action to take if any....
I know you don't want to have to admit to this but it's happened now & you at least owe her this much do you not?
For the future Honey....& I'm not making judgements here...keep very clear of friend's b/f's....it's not worth all the heartache it brings....if you want true friends...you must be one first.
Hope everything gets settled soon & hope you've learned a valuable lesson
Hey! Life’s all about learning Babe.
Good luck!

I think you did the right thing - after all, it is only you and this chap who know what happened and if you are both denying it, there's no-one to prove you wrong. But I'm interested as to why your friend has suspicions .... what gave her these?
You do no-one any favours in confession to what was, essentially, jus a one-off! It happened, it's over ... life moves on. If you and this chap don't say anything then it won't come up again. Your friend won't be any happier in knowing what happened so why upset her, and break the friendship between you both, and also break up her and this chap - see the damage that it could do if it comes out.
There may be many people advocating you to be honest but, sometimes, you have to keep quiet and let things blow over which does less damage. And that's what I'd do in this instance.
Good luck

Look honey, it's over a year ago now since this happened, yes she did pull you on the subject, but both you ,AND HIM denied anything happened.
Therefore although you now don't regret what happened between you, it obviously did'nt mean too much to him, because he did nothing about it after the party and stayed with his g/f.
If you want to try and split them up tell her, but you won't get him for yourself, if he didn't want you over the past year, then he won't want you now,in fact he'll dislike you ,because you were nasty enough to break him and his g/f up,for something, he obviously did'nt put too much store on.
She may in her heart of hearts, know something went on, but chooses to forgive and stay with her fella.
No good ever comes of being nasty you know,so "don't try and mend what ain't broke".
Hopefully she won't bring it up again, if she does, keep denying it,as I'm sure the fella involved will.
You know what fella's can be like when they've had a few drinks, put it down to experience and move on,there's hundreds of fellas out there who aren't involved with anyone.
Anyway, why would you want a man who is a cheat and a liar. These type of men don't change you know whoever their with, they just love the thrill of the chase.Take it from me your better of without him, as his girlfriend will un-doubtedly find out eventually.

If you truely didnt want people to know then you wouldnt have told a few close friends.
If she's not talking to you anyway what difference will it make if you tell her now? The only difference it would make is that she'd probably dump him and not talk to him too.
Or is that what you really want?

Tell her what happened and how you feel. Be apologetic because you need to tell her how you still want her for a friend. You have to be honest and let the chips fall where they may. If she rejects you, it may only be temporary. She may respect you more for coming clean with her. Tell her the truth.

When you say "meet" what exactly do you mean? Do you mean like "Hi, my name is....." Or hook up with him? You need to supply more details because this "situation" doesn`t make sense.
But if you ARE talking about a simple "hi and hello", that`s stupid of you to DENY (correct spelling) that you`ve met him. You aren`t much of a friend if you`re gonna hide things from her.

Well you were wrong for lying to your friend but you should go into more detail about what happened with the boyfriend because it makes the question hard to understand.

The truth shall set you free, think about it, if she discontinue our friendship over a lie, is it worth being her friend?

you were both well out of order. you wouldnt like it done to you- would you?
no point in saying owt now. should have owned up (both of you) when you were asked.
why does she not speak to you when he does still> i find that odd
and dont think he will leave her for you..... if that was the case he would have done it already.....
