I have a friend who needs to see a good psychologist or perhaps a Licensed Clinical social worker. He needs someone in the Seattle, Washington area. Also, a good Marriage, family therapist if you know of one. It's difficult to know who to go to when you don't have a clue about the person. He doesn't want to just pull a name out of the phonebook. He isn't comfortable talking about it to friends so of course he won't ask any of them for recommendations. He would like someone really good. If you know of someone, can you share some of that persons good qualities as well. Thanks!

John M. Gottman -- who is quite a famous marriage expert -- lives and works in Seattle. If he can't see you personally, he could maybe recommend someone?

Also, since Seattle is such a depressing place (well, in January anyway ;-), there are a ton of therapy referral resources. They are often advertised on KUOW 94.9 FM (public radio station). Or perhaps you could find them via Google.
