i know when you're asleep you don't realise what's happening, but i mean have you ever woken up with a spider sitting on your face or something?
something along those lines

My friend who sleeps in the basement had a centipede crawl up his cheek and into his open mouth. He inhaled it, choked and spat it out.

It wasn't an insect but, I once woke suddenly for no apparent reason in the middle of the night. I was about to get up when I saw a HUGE brown spider hovering right over my face on a line of silk! I blew it out of the way and very quickly slipped out of bed.

I know it has happened to me while I am asleep, and most likely everyone else in the world. Most people swallow more than a half dozen spiders in their sleep during their lifetime!
If I woke up with a spider on my face I think I would feel sick for the rest of my life.

I never did, but my husband woke up looking like a pizza once after having spent the night with some mosquitoes....

last week, some poison spider bit my left hand. it hurt and was swollen for about 5 days.

Yes - two black widow bites in one night while camping. It took almost two years to get fully over it.

when i was about 7, just as i woke up a cockroach ran across my face.
i was absolutely terrified.

not as bad as that but i was attacked by bugs in my sleep
i woke up w/red polka dots all over my body...
that was nasty!
