I am pretty much the same... i don't like conflict.
i rather work on peace than create war.
Although what i found is standing up for YOU.
it is very empowering. to take a look at situations you deal with each day, if people are putting you down. stand up for you.
Look at yourself like a small child, you would do everything to protect that small child..
Defend that child.
Then stand up and be the you, you can be.. and don't let people push you down..
But also remember its ok to cry.. its ok to express your anger and your frustration.
we bottle up so much of it now days being so politically correct we would go mad.
Also find something to let out the stress,, music, singing, dancing mediation.. whatever works for you.
hope that helps.

Throughout your life I am sure you have developed certain amounts of prinicipals. Don't try to argue with someone over principals. We all do not share the same ones. Learn that you can't change someone for the sake of an argument. Learn to feel assured and self-confident in who and what you are. Remember that silence is golden in most respects. Walk away if you feel uncomfortable. If you feel your comfort level decreasing, walk away. As for being stronger, just be confident in who and what you are, make good friends based on mutual interests-likes and dislikes, stay away from those who make you feel ill at ease.

Arguing with people exhausts me too, it takes alot of will power to stop myself from bursting into tears. But if you really need to argue yourself through something, the results are often worth the stress. In such a situation you could try distancing yourself, and try not to take things so personally. Maybe even pretend that your somebody else (it sounds stupid, but sometimes stupid things genuinely work).

First, learn that most people are no damn good. They behave like filthy animals, so learn to treat them as such. When you stop caring what these idiots think, you will stop being exhausted. I'm not saying walk around and be nasty to people. Just remember that people that get in your way need to be told what to do... They're stupid animals and won't know what to do until you tell them.

Sounds to me like your armour is missing and you are taking every dart that comes your way. Ephesians 6 tells us to wear our armour, it works for me, check it out! Once you know how amazing and special you are you don't take what others think of you as seriously.
